History – Earth Moving
From the beginnings of the demolishing of Cribb Island (the suburb) which made way for the extension of the international airport/runways to the demolishing of South Brisbane to make way for Expo ’88 to sub-divisions mainly on Brisbane’s north side we have extended our range of equipment.
In the last 10 years we have diversified from general carting to excavation works consisting of a range of machinery such as: 21ton, 13.5ton, 12ton & 3ton excavators and a 815 Compactor, a double-drum smooth Roller, a 4wd Extender-hoe Backhoe, Skid Steer Bob-cats to semi-tippers, side-tipper and truck and dogs.
Our step-deck trailer which predominantly transports our own earth moving machinery enables us to meet the industry needs at short notice for as we can offer a 24 hour seven day a week service on it and all the rest of the plant and equipment.Throughout its history, Jurasic Earthmoving (now Ballard’s Earthmoving) has sought to acquire new skills and to improve upon established methods. This philosophy provided a platform for the company to successfully develop a multi-disciplinary construction capability.
We specialise in under-house digs, site clean-ups, bulk rubbish removal, onsite sub divisional civil earthworks, and general tipper and water cart hire. In our operations, we identify hazards, assess risk, implement appropriate controls, where necessary, and provide ongoing information and training to our staff.
Without developing a relationship with our clientele we would not be here and thank our clients thus far.
Anthony Ballard has over 30 years’ experience in the bulk earthworks area and over 10 years in demolition, possesses all required insurances qualifications, and permits to operate such plant and equipment in the varied fields of operation.
