Earthworks

Sub-divisions, clearing, slashing and landscaping earthworks.

The construction industry uses complex and heavy machinery on a daily basis. In many instances, engineers and procurement officers do not end up selecting the most suitable machinery for their operations. The correct earthmoving contractors lead to a reduction in delays and decrease in operation costs.

If you find yourself in need of earthmoving or excavation services in Brisbane, it is important to find the right workers and equipment for your particular needs. A quick internet search will provide you with a long list of earthmoving contractors and equipment available in Brisbane. To narrow down your search, you need to know exactly what sort of work you need performed.

Ballard’s Earthmoving contractors cover a wide range of services for large and small scale jobs. Typical jobs include trenching, landscaping, land clearing, and pool excavations. Our team also provide equipment hiring services, rubbish removal, and site clean-up. Ballard’s Earthmoving contractors perform heavy construction jobs like earthworks, demolition, site cleanups on abandoned properties and repossessions, and assist in road construction. While many contractors perform multiple types of excavation and earthmoving jobs, some may have more expertise in a particular area than others. When you are looking to hire a contractor, then you choose Ballard’s Earthmoving to competently meet your project requirements.

Sub-division Earthworks

Complex Infrastructure

Complex Infrastructure is not just earthworks, there is a lot of crainage, demolition and a lot of variables, so you must be able to think outside the square as the situation can change by the minute. Some of the projects Ballard’s Earthmoving & Demolition have been involved in are: Landers Shute (Montville/Palmwoods STP), Uhlmann Road (Burpengary), Sandgate STP, Landsborough STP, Somerset Dam, Wivenhoe Dam, Albany Creek, Marcoola.

Landscaping Earthworks

Ballard’s Earthmoving provide landscaping earthworks services for both large and small projects. From levelling a backyard to digging out tree stumps, to digging new driveways we can help with all earthworks requirements.

Landscaping – Caloundra. Turning a pile of dirt into a lovely yard for these clients.

Our great service…

Tony was called to dig out a very large tree stump, albeit he then freelance designed & reconfigured a backyard to suit a pool that was placed too high causing the land to hold water and not able to run off. Our client was so impressed with the outcome, they took photos and printed them on a canvas wall hanging for us as a token for their appreciation. Beautiful people to work makes all the difference.

Overland Flow Drainage Earthworks

To drain an area without using pipes is the correct definition of what ‘overland flow’ means.

It substitutes the use of pipes, gullies and drainage material by way of excavating the land to give fall to the surface so the water naturally falls to the direction of the lowest point i.e. dam/slash creek/stormwater.
